Didier Schaub
Biography:
Didier Schaub is an art critic. He is a curator of contemporary arts and the co-founder of the NGO Doual'art in Douala. He has been the artistic director of the SUD (Salon Urbain de Douala) since 2007, and the president of the jury of the International Symposium of Monumental Sculpture in Libreville in 2005. He curated the exhibition Créateurs Contemporains d’Afrique Centrale in the context of the Biennial of Dakar in 2002, and was a member of the jury in the 2004 edition. From 2000 to 2003 he was the head of the department of contemporary arts at the European programme for Central African Culture.
