Politiques modèles, modèles de politiques? Quelle leçons tirer des expériences de développement et de lutte contre la pauvreté du Cap-Vert, du Brésil et du Mozambique

This workshop, co-financed by the SNIS, addresses the question on lessons learned from past development policies and the fight against poverty, based on the experiences made by Cap-Vert, Brazil and Mozambique. The workshop proposes a dialogue between researchers, national policy makers, representatives of International Organizations and the civil society.

The programmes focuses on the following three questions:

• Capt-Vert, Brazil, Mozambique: What lessons can be drawn from past development experiences?
• Gender and Development: scope and limits.
• New social policies in combating poverty .

The workshop, organised by Dr François-Xavier Merrien (University of Lausanne), takes place in the framework of the SNIS funded project "Development Myths in Practice: the Feminisation" of Anti-Poverty Policies and International Organisations. The cases of Brazil, the Philippines and Mozambique."
