Job Opportunities for Civil Service Applicants

The SNIS has currently openings for young professionals seeking a long term assignment (4 – 6 months) in the framework of their civil service obligations. Applicants must be registered and fulfil the legal requirements as per regulations set forth by the Executive Organ of the Civil Service (Organe d’exécution pour le service civil).

We are seeking collaborators with following qualifications:

Position 1: Information Technology Officer

The ideal candidate has obtained a degree in IT sciences (Ecole d’ingénieurs). His tasks include:

• Maintain, update and further develop the existing CMS platform, running on Drupal
• General IT assistance to team members
• Participation to multimedia projects (video, post-production)

Position 2: General Support in Project Coordination – Communication – Administration

The candidate should have a bachelor degree in economics, law, political or social science, international relations or in translation and interpretation studies. Candidates of ETI  (Ecole de traduction et d’interprétation) are particularly welcome. Excellent language skills in English and French are required for this position. A good command of German would be an asset.

Tasks will include:

• General support to the team members in the field of project management, event organisations and administrative tasks
• Transcription of conference recordings
• Proof reading
