International Geneva Award 2012
The International Geneva Award has been established to encourage outstanding research scientists to produce publications that are particularly relevant for International Organisations. The Award is a prestigious academic distinction specifically created to promote links between Swiss academics and International Geneva.
The Award is given to the three best papers published on a subject related to International Studies and especially useful from the perspective of the Academic Council of International Geneva.
The SNIS provides CHF 15'000 annually for the AC award. The three awarded publications are prized up to CHF 5’000 each.
Prizes will be presented annually in the framework of a SNIS event and the awardees will be invited to present their research and awarded paper.
Applications will be reviewed by the Academic Council, composed of representatives of International Organisations headquartered in Geneva with expertise in one or several areas relevant to International Studies.
Entrants must be professors or researchers at a post-doctoral level working in a Swiss university and employed on a multiple-year contract at the time of submission.
The submission deadline for the 2012 edition of the International Geneva Award is 14 May 2012.
