Christine Murto
Biography:
Christine Murto, PhD (candidate) Medical Anthropologist/epidemiologist in migrant and women’s health in the Americas over the past 15 years. Her work has concentrated on social and behavioural determinants of disease with applied applications in program development, evaluation and strategic planning with governmental agencies and NGO’s, most recently on internal migration and leprosy transmission in Brazil. A focus has been the use of integrated qualitative/quantitative methods in research design.
