Carla Xena

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford (Merton College). My research interests lay in the intersection between political attitudes and survey methodology.

I am Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, Merton College. I am also a Visiting Lecturer at Fordham University, where I teach Comparative European Politics. I previously worked as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Surrey (Department of Politics), Teaching Assistant at the University of Essex (Department of Government) and at the Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis. Before embarking on a PhD in the UK, I worked as a Research Executive in Barcelona, my hometown.

I completed my doctoral thesis at the University of Essex, Department of Government. My research was supervised by Prof. David Sanders and funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). I hold a MSc in Political Behaviour from the same University and a MA in Political and Social Sciences from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), where I also earned my BA degree in Political Science and Public Administration.
